BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> RESOLUTION NO.2025- <br /> AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF JRP INTEGRATED SOLUTIONS FOR THE CWU <br /> TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER CENTER FEASIBILITY STUDY AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC <br /> WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS: Kittitas County has been awarded a planning grant from the Washington State Community <br /> Economic Revitalization Board(CERB)to assist in financing the cost of the Kittitas County <br /> CWU Technology Transfer Center Study;and <br /> WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works(PW)advertised a Request for Qualifications for the <br /> feasibility study to repurpose a vacant industrial building to create hospitality,meeting and <br /> office space;and <br /> WHEREAS: Submittals were due on November 22,2024; and <br /> WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works received three(3)submittals from qualified firms who <br /> submitted their qualifications for review;and <br /> WHEREAS: Submittals were evaluated by a committee including representatives from Kittitas County <br /> Public Works,Central Washington University and the Associate Economic Development <br /> Organization(ADO);and <br /> WHEREAS: The consensus recommendation is to select JRP Integrated Solutions for consultant services <br /> associated with this solicitation. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners,after due <br /> consideration and in the best interest of the public,does hereby select JRP Integrated <br /> Solutions for the CWU Technology Transfer Center Feasibility Study;and <br /> NOW,BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Public Works Director is authorized to negotiate and execute a <br /> professional services agreement for said project. <br /> DATED on this 13th day of January 2025,at Ellensburg,Washington. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY,WASHINGTON <br /> Laura Osiadacz,Chairman <br /> Attest: <br /> ❑ Clerk of the Board-Julie Kjorsvik <br /> Cory Wright,Vice-Chairman <br /> ❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz <br /> Brett Wachsmith,Commissioner <br />
