regarding proposed amendments to the Kittitas County Code and Comprehensive Plan. All <br />members of the public who wanted to testify were allowed to speak or submit written <br />correspondence into the record. <br />The docketed items discussed during the Board of County Commissioners public hearing <br />included: <br />2024-01 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />Amend the Annual Docketing Deadline date in the Comprehensive Plan and KCC 15B. <br />I. The Planning Commission amended the proposed deadline date to the first Friday of the <br />month of May and recommended approval to the Board of County Commissioners with <br />a vote of 4-0 with twelve (12) findings of facts. <br />II. No public testimony was received for this proposal. <br />III. The change complies with the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />2024-02 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />Amend KCC 17.15 land use table footnote Ws 14 & 48 pertaining to Type 1 LAMIIWs <br />therefore becoming consistent with Senate Bill 6140. <br />The proposed amendment to KCC 17.15 footnote Ws 14 & 48 pertaining to Type 1 LAMIRDs <br />allows for the maximum square footage for new & existing retail or food services (essential <br />facilities) to not exceed a footprint greater than 10,000 sq. ft. as approved in Senate Bill 6140. <br />I. The Planning Commission recommended approval to the Board of County <br />Commissioners with a vote of 4-0 with nine (9) findings of fact. <br />II. No public testimony was received for this proposal. <br />III. The change complies with the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />2024-03 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />Amendment to update its land use and zoning maps to reflect approved annexations that <br />have been approved by the City of Ellensburg in 2024. <br />I. The Planning Commission recommended approval to the Board of County <br />Commissioners with a vote of 4-0 with eight (8) findings of fact. <br />II. The City of Ellensburg is currently in the process of creating consistency with their <br />land and zoning maps pursuant to this approved annexation. <br />III. No public testimony for this proposal was received. <br />W. The change complies with the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the <br />County's Comprehensive Plan. <br />2024-04 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />Amend KCC 2.56, 14, 12, & 16 allowing surveys to submitted and recorded on paper instead of <br />mylars. <br />2024 Docket Enabling Ordinance <br />Page 5 <br />January 7, 2025 <br />
