Whereas, One timely SEPA appeal was received on October 10, 2024, for Docket Item 2024- <br />13; and <br />Whereas, The SEPA determination for Docket # 2024-13 was withdrawn with a new SEPA <br />mitigated threshold determination issued on October 161, 2024; and <br />Whereas, A timely SEPA appeal was received on October 29', 2024, for Docket Item 2024- <br />13; and <br />Whereas, The Planning Commission conducted an open public meeting on August 13.2024, <br />to review the Docketed list (Docket Items 2024-01 through 2024-13) for general <br />questions to staff; and <br />Whereas, Due public notice was placed upon the County official website regarding the <br />Planning Commission public hearings; and <br />Whereas, The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on September 10', 2024, <br />and September 111, 2024, to hear testimony and take public comment on Docket <br />Items 2024-01 through 2024-10, and after deliberation made recommendations to <br />the Board of County Commissioners, taking due consideration of the public <br />benefit involved in the proposals; and <br />Whereas, The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on November 12', 2024, <br />to hear testimony and take public comment on the Docket Item #'s 2024-11, <br />2024-12, & 2024-13 and after deliberation made recommendations to the Board <br />of County Commissioners on Docket Items 2024-11, 2024-12; and <br />Whereas, The Planning Commission continued the November 12t', 2024, public hearing for <br />Docket Item 2024-13 to December 3', 2024; and <br />Whereas, The Planning Commission conducted the continued public hearing on December <br />31, 2024, to hear additional testimony and take public comment regarding <br />Docket Item # 2024-13 and after deliberation made recommendations to the <br />Board of County Commissioners; and <br />Whereas, After due notice the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners held an <br />open public meeting on October 22, 2024, regarding Docket Items 2024-01 <br />through 2024-10; and <br />Whereas, After due notice and publication on the County's official website and in the <br />Ellensburg Daily Record on October 24, 2024 and October 31, 2024, the Kittitas <br />County Board of County Commissioners held an open public hearing on Docket <br />Items 2024-01 through 2024-10 on November 6, 2024; and <br />Whereas, At the public hearing on November 6, 2024, and after deliberation, the Board of <br />County Commissioners voted 3-0 to approve Docket Items 2024-01 through <br />2024-06 and 2024-08 through 2024-10, withdrawing Docket # 2024-07; and <br />2024 Docket Enabling Ordinance January 7, 2025 <br />Page 3 <br />
