AMENDMENT TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR COURT RELATED <br />SERVICES BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND THE CITY OF ELLENSBURG <br />This AMENDMENT, effective the 1 st day of January 2025, amends the AGREEMENT dated <br />November 18, 2003 between the City of Ellensburg and Kittitas County on behalf of the Lower <br />District Court of, a copy of which is attached hereto. Other than the terms specifically referenced <br />herein, all other terms and conditions of the existing AGREEMENT remain in full force and <br />effect. <br />This AMENDMENT is entered into by the authority of Section 4 of the AGREEMENT which <br />allows for the renegotiation of the AGREEMENT. <br />The purpose of this AMENDMENT is to add an additional amount paid by the City of <br />Ellensburg directly to the County for Public Defense services the sum of $75,000 (Seventy -Five <br />Thousand Dollars). This sum is in addition to those described and assessed by Section 3 of the <br />existing AGREEMENT. This sum shall be paid in the ordinary course of operations by the City <br />not later than January 31, 2025. <br />No other pricing or other term of the original AGREEMENT is changed in any manner <br />whatsoever. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this instrument to be effective as of the <br />Effective Date first above written. <br />For the City: �--� For the County: <br />
