KNIT <br />REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO AMEND THE PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />AMENDMENT NO. <br />TO: <br />COMPANY: <br />DATE REQUESTED: <br />002 <br />Patti Stacey <br />Kittitas County <br />November 18, 2024 <br />In accordance with the Agreement dated: September 05, 2023 <br />between the Owner: Owner <br />and the Architect: KNIT <br />for the Project: Kittitas County On -Call, Jail TI-Task 1 — Recreation Yard Covers <br />Requested by: Rhonda Gillogly, AIA-Partner, Knit <br />Knit Project Number: 230076 <br />Authorization is hereby requested to proceed with Additional Services, Additional <br />Reimbursable Expenses or to amend our agreement as follows: <br />Scope: Provide architectural, structural and MEP construction document services for <br />the addition of new jail aluminum frame with polycarbonate glazing recreation yard covers at <br />three locations. (2 at the old jail and 1 at the jail annex). Construction documents shall include <br />this scope of work as Bid Alternate No 2 in the current set of drawings that will be issued for <br />bidding and construction. A deferred submittal will be issued for permitting. Scope of work <br />includes construction document development, permitting, bidding as a lump sum service fee. <br />Construction Administration will be provided as an hourly not to exceed. Travel/mileage <br />expenses are included as additional reimbursable expenses. <br />The following adjustments shall be made as follows: <br />1. Compensation: <br />a. Lump Sum for the development of Construction Documents, permitting <br />and bid phases. <br />b. Hourly for Construction Administration and reimbursable expenses with <br />base contract mark-ups. <br />c. Standard hourly rates apply from base contract. <br />Time: The outlined services to be accomplished within 30 business days from <br />issuance of Notice to Proceed. <br />Cost of the Work: <br />A. Construction Documents -Lump Sum <br />Architectural: $34,000.00 <br />Structural: $14,000.00 <br />MEP: $ 6,185.00 <br />Cost Estimating Allowance: $ 500.00 <br />10% Mark -Up On Consultants: $ 2,068.50 <br />Reimbursable Expenses $ 550.00 <br />Total $57,303.50 <br />
