Each participating employee who passes the physical fitness test shall be entitled to receive fitness incentive pay, <br />paid monthly, in an amount specified in the contract. <br />E. FITNESS TEST BENCHMARKS-FITNESS INCENTIVE PAY <br />Minimum Testing Requirements: To be eligible to receive fitness incentive pay, parlicipants must pass each of the <br />four following tests: 300-meter run, push-ups, sit-ups, and squat-thrusts. Each participating employee who passes <br />this physical Ability Test (PAT) shall be entitled to receive fitness incentive pay, paid monthly, in the amount <br />specified in the contract. <br />phvsical Abilitv Test Standards: The KCSO PAT is comprised of four test components. All four components must be <br />completed with a passing score to pass the KCSO PAT' <br />L. 300-meter run (followed by 15 minutes rest) <br />2. Push-ups (followed by 5 minutes rest) <br />3. Sit-ups (followed by 10 minutes rest) <br />4. Squat-thrusts (followed by 5 minutes cool-down to include walking and stretching) <br />Test participants should perform an independent or conducted warm up of 5-10 minutes consisting of a general <br />warmup followed by stretching to include stretches for shoulders, back, and upper and lower legs' The test <br />components should be administered in the following sequence: <br />1,. The 300-meter run shall use a standard track or a marked level course (300 meters = 328 yards = <br />9g4 feet). participants will be instructed to line up at the starting line. Time will begin when the <br />signal to start running is given. The maximum passing time on the 300-meter run is71"49 seconds' <br />2. The push-up test shall be administered according to the protocols of the WSCJTC, except for the <br />number of repetitions. The test is timed with a maximum limit of 90 seconds. To pass the KCSO <br />pAT the participant must complete 25 successful repetitions within this time. <br />3. The Sit-up test shall be administered according to the protocols of the WSCJTC, except for the <br />number of repetitions. The test is timed with a maximum limit of 90 seconds. To pass the KCSO <br />pAT the participant must complete 25 successful repetitions within this time. <br />4. The Squat-thrust test shall be administered according to the protocols of the WSCJTC, except for <br />the number of repetitions. The test is timed with a maximum limit of l-80 seconds.
