24,2 <br />24.3 <br />24.4 <br />26.2 <br />26.3 <br />The Employer may discharge andlor discipline any employee who violates Section 23.1. No employee shall <br />be entitled to any pay and/or benefits for the period in which he/she engaged in any strikes, slowdowns, <br />work stoppages or other interference with work' <br />Nothing contained herein shall preclude the Employer from obtaining judicial restraint and damages in the <br />event of a violation of this Article' <br />No lockout of employees shall be instituted by the Employer. <br />ARTICLE 25 - M EDICAL. DENTA L. VISION. RETIREE,S MEDICAL. AND LIFE BENEFITS <br />ZS,t The Employer agrees to provide at least one (1) option for major medical, dental, vision, and basic life <br />insurance plans for employees of the County. <br />zs.2 purchase of employee healthcare coverage is mandatory in all areas offered through the Employer <br />{medical, vision, dental, basic life, and long-term disability). Purchase of dependent healthcare coverage <br />is optional. <br />ZS.3 The parties mutually agree that the Union may vote to move to Teamsters UEBT medical (Plan A6 <br />composite/fullfamily coverage); however, they must notify the county HR Director of theirfinaldecision <br />in writing no later than November l for the change to occur the following year. ln that event, the employer <br />contribution shall continue to be equal to the amount granted to non-bargained employees during each <br />annual budget cycle. Mid-year changes will not be allowed' <br />2s.4 Effective January I,2ozs,the County shall pay 100% of the premium amount forTeamsters Retiree Welfare <br />Trust (RWT) Plus XL medical plan per bargaining unit member per month' <br />ARTIC 25 - SAtARtES CLASSIFICATION S - WAGE RATES -OTHER oNs <br />26.1 Effective January L,2025, all wages will be increased according to the schedule outlined in Appendix A <br />Effective January 1,2026, allwages will be increased by 3%' <br />Effective january L,2A27, all wages will be increased bV 3%' <br />26.4 Salary classifications and wage rates are contained in Appendix "A" attached hereto and incorporated by <br />this reference <br />26.5 Fitness lncentive: A fitness incentive of S110.00 per month will be available to those individuals who <br />successfully pass the Kilitas County Sheriff's office Physical Ability Test (PAT). Testing will take place every <br />six (6) months (in April and october) with pay to begin or end May 1 and November 1. Fitness incentive <br />applies to Jail Deputies, Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant and Security Deputies. All participating employees <br />must make themselves available on the scheduled test dates. Employees shall be on "in-service" status <br />during the examination/testing process but shall receive no overtime or extra compensation for the time <br />spent testing.
