792CH - Courthouse Union <br />Official may return an employee to their previous position at any time during the trial <br />service period if the Employing Official determines that said employee is not capable of <br />meeting the job standards or properly performing the work. <br />23.2 ln the event a promoted employee fails in the trial period at the new position, that employee <br />has the right to "bump back" to the employee's former position. The employee "bumped" has <br />the right to "bump" to the position previously held, provided that in each instance of "bumping" <br />the employee had completed a probationary period in the position the employee seeks to <br />regain. <br />23.3 New employees, defined as new to the organization or one moving from a position outside this <br />contract, shall serve a six (6) month probationary period, whether or not such employee is <br />qualified to continue to hold the position shall be determined at the sole discretion of the <br />elected official or department head in whose department such employee is employed. The <br />employee may be terminated. <br />23.4 The posting announcement shall contain at a minimum the following information <br />The department where the opening exists; <br />Classification specifications; <br />Job title; <br />Salary range and entry level; <br />Date of posting; <br />Last day applications will be received; <br />Qualifications required for the position, i.e. education, training, skills, experience, etc. <br />ARTICLE XXIV - SPECIAL COMPENSATION PROVISIONS <br />24.7 Longevitv Pav: Longevity pay, in addition to wages, shall be paid monthly as follows <br />At 8 years of employment S70 per month <br />At 12 years of employment Stoo per month <br />At 16 vears of emplovment 5140 per month <br />Employees who are currently receiving longevity pay at seven (7) years of service at the time of <br />ratification shall continue to receive current longevity pay until beginning at year eight (8) of <br />employment when the new rate will take effect. <br />24.LI Effective January t't,2026, the longevity scale in effect will be increased by 6%, or 1,OO% <br />of the change inthe CPI-WWest Region, Size Class B/Cwhen comparingthe month of <br />June of 2O25 to June of 2024, whichever is lower, with a minimum increase of 3%. <br />24.L.2 Effective January I't,2027 , the longevity scale in effect will be increased by 6%, or IOO% <br />of the change in CPI-W West Region, Size Class B/C when comparing the month of June <br />of 2026 to June of 2025, whichever is lower, with a minimum increase of 3%. <br />L <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />23
