It is the consolidation of activities spread across the County structure into one department,with the goal of increasing effective oversight, efficiency of funds, and transparency of how tax and fee revenue is used. In 2025 HS will have 1.8 FTE dedicated to the administration of almost 5.5 million dollars of primarily tax and fee revenue back into the community. The Veteran Services program activities fall under the human services umbrella and are included in the human services budget, but at this time have not been consolidated into the HS division structure.This program operates successfully in the current structure under the Administration Division of KCPHD and will not change unless and until thorough Kittitas County Public Health Department—2025 Human Services Preliminary Budget Narrative Page 1 of 5 28
