funding support and the grazing lease revenue, we anticipate that the property will have a
$200,000 funding deficit over the first two years. The Kittitas Reclamation District water
assessment is the most significant cost associated with the property.
Public Works staff has been coordinating with the other property owners and the primary
caretaker and has the capacity to manage grant funding should we secure it. We seek
confirmation that Public Works should continue to manage Springwood during this
interim period. We also seek confirmation that revenue and funding needs should be
assigned to the general fund.
FISCAL IMPACTS:
Given our current knowledge about property expenses and potential revenue, we expect a
funding deficit of $200,000 over a two-year period.
ATTACHMENTS:
None.
Public Works "Work Session Staff Report", 2024
