BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO: 2024-jq <br />AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTIOR SIGNATURE ON FORMAL TASK ORDER <br />NO. 1 AMENDMENT NO.2 WITH CONSOR NORTH AMERICA, INC. <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works (Public Works) procured on -call professional <br />Public Outreach Services from Consor North America, Inc. (Consor) in December <br />2022; and <br />WHEREAS: Resolution 2023-150 authorized signature on Task Order No. 1 for a Public Outreach <br />Campaign to support efforts for a 2024 Road Fund Levy election in the amount of <br />$85,840.00; and <br />WHEREAS: Task Order No. 1 was amended through a no -cost amendment in November 2023 to <br />accommodate our Prosecuting Attorney's request to ensure legal compliance with public <br />outreach; and <br />WHEREAS: Consor's scope of work included outreach materials without a method to distribute those <br />materials to residents of Kittitas County; and <br />WHEREAS: This amendment authorizes an additional $36,700 supporting the public outreach campaign <br />for a 2024 Road Fund Levy election. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of the <br />public, does hereby authorize Task Order No. 1 Amendment No. 2 with Consor for professional public <br />outreach services; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: the Public Works Director is directed to sign said amendment on behalf of <br />the Board of County Commissioners. <br />DATED this 12th day of November 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />1J <br />?s,erk� of th . d- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />*BOARDF COUNTY ISSIO ERS <br />COUNTY, AS N <br />Brett Wachsmlth, Chai an <br />Vice -Chairman <br />C`o�ry Wrig`lrt; Commissioner <br />
