2024-10-11 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />Commissioners would like to recap the priorities of the Courthouse. Patti Stacey discusses the <br />low and top priorities. Doug Fessler from IT talks about their request for a Service Desk <br />Remodel. The proximity of staff at the front desk is causing personnel issues. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright would like to stress the importance of Lodging Tax funds to pay for the <br />Grandstand Replacement. The fund has the money and should be used for this project. <br /> <br />Commissioners agree to fund the Event Center Chip Seal project, Along with Roof/Logs <br />and Frontier Village. <br /> <br />Patti Stacey discusses the important projects that need to address for 2025 budget. Auditor, <br />Bryan Elliott has Election grant money that can be used for new a new IT door and Gate. Nancy <br />Shaff answers question regarding the Sheriff projects. Generator and Evidence Bay Buildout are <br />their top priority projects. <br /> <br />EOC building, Phase 1 will be funded using REET 1. <br /> <br />Next topic is the Landscaping contract. Project total is 45,000 a year. 25 weeks a year at 8 hours <br />minimum a week for all the different locations. Maintenance staff has not grown in years. <br /> <br />Commissioners are in favor of a trial period contracting landscaping and a reassessment <br />prior to further obligation. <br /> <br />Door lock project and security cameras may be eligible for Courthouse security grants according <br />to Bryan Elliott, Auditor. <br /> <br />Morris Sorenson does need the Sidewalk replaced or repaired. This is a safety issue. Roof <br />replacement and RTU/HVAC is topic and that conversation is on hold for now. Discussion was <br />had regarding divesting from the property. <br /> <br />Commissioners are in favor of funding the sidewalk repair only. <br /> <br />Permit Center is also on hold for now. <br /> <br />Upper County Bathroom is in need of repair. <br /> <br />New Morgue- -need more information before a decision is made.
