Docket No. 2024-02: Limited Areas of More Intense Rural Development (LAMIRD) <br />update per Senate Bill 6140. <br />1. The Planning Commission finds that Kittitas County Community Development <br />Services Department submitted a request amending KCC 17.15 land use table <br />footnote Ws 14 & 48 pertaining to Type 1 LAMIRDs to be consistent with the <br />approved Senate Bill 6140. <br />2. Planning Commission reviewed the docketed request on August 13a', 2024, at the <br />public meeting. Kittitas County Community Development Services Director <br />provided a summary of this request. <br />3. August 13t', 2024, at the public meeting, the Planning Commission briefly reviewed <br />and had general discussions on becoming. consistent with state law. <br />4. Planning Commission finds that a sepa threshold determination of non -significance <br />(DNS) was issued with comments submitted regarding Docket 2024-02. <br />5. Planning Commission finds that a sepa threshold determination of non -significance <br />(DNS) was issued for the 2024 annual docket cycle with no timely appeals filed. <br />6. The Planning Commission finds there was no public testimony for or in opposition to <br />the proposal. <br />7. The Planning Commission finds that this request is creating consistency with <br />recently approved legislation, specifically Senate Bill 6140. <br />8. On September 101h, 2024, at the public hearing the Planning Commission voted 4-0 <br />recommending approval to the Board of County Commissioners based on the <br />information submitted in the record <br />9. On September 11th, 2024, the Planning Commission approved the Findings of Facts <br />for Docket Number 2024-02. <br />Docket No. 2024-03: 2024 Annexation update reflecting consistency in our Zoning <br />maps. <br />1. The Planning Commission finds that Kittitas County Community Development <br />Services Department submitted a request to change the land use and zoning map <br />creating consistency due to land being annexed into the city limits of Ellensburg. <br />2. Planning Commission reviewed the docketed request on August 13t', 2024, at the <br />public meeting. Kittitas County Community Development Services Director <br />provided a summary of this request. <br />3. August 13"', 2024, at the public meeting, the Planning Commission briefly reviewed <br />and had general discussions regarding the locations of the subject parcels that were <br />annexed into the Ellensburg City limits. <br />4. Planning Commission finds that a sepa threshold determination of non -significance <br />(DNS) was issued with comments submitted regarding Docket 2024-03. <br />5. Planning Commission finds that a sepa threshold determination of non -significance <br />(DNS) was issued for the 2024 annual docket cycle with no timely appeals filed. <br />6. The Planning Commission finds there was no public testimony in opposition to the <br />proposal. <br />
