BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024- d 1 <br />AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR PLANNING SUPPORT SERVICES TO <br />INCLUDE THE SCOPE OF WORK AND BUDGET FOR BOTH THE GMA PERIODIC <br />UPDATE GRANT AND THE GMA CLIMATE PLANNING GRANT AS AWARDED BY THE <br />WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE <br />WHEREAS: The County approved Resolution No. 2024-071 to authorize the Community Development <br />Services Director to negotiate and sign the Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Professional <br />Services Agreement (PSA) effective May 24, 2024, for On -Call Environmental Planning, <br />Long Range Planning, Current Planning and Washington State Growth Management <br />Compliance Support; and <br />WHEREAS: The County seeks to amend the PSA to include the scope of work and budget for both the <br />Periodic Update Grant and the Climate Planning Update Grant; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. PSA shall remain in effect through June 30, 2026, <br />and therefore extends beyond the June 30, 2025, end date of both grants; and <br />WHEREAS: The County understands that the Periodic Update Grant and the Climate Grant monies are <br />administered on a fiscal year process with individual contracts for each fiscal year. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby approve to amend the Kimley-Horn and <br />Associates, Inc.
