10/14/2024 MINUTES 2 <br />At 9:12 a.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess <br />into a Collective Bargaining - Closed Session with Jeanne Killgore, <br />HR Director; Darren Higashiyama, Chief Deputy; Zack DeHaven, <br />Assistant Finance Director; Andrew Yoder, Finance Manager; Bryan <br />Elliott, Auditor - Pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(b), the OPMA does <br />not apply to that portion of a meeting during which the governing <br />body is planning or adopting the strategy or position to be taken by <br />the governing body during the course of any collective bargaining, <br />professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation proceedings, or <br />reviewing the proposals made in the negotiations or proceedings <br />while in progress. <br /> <br />At 9:46 a.m. the Board reconvened out of a Closed Bargaining <br />Session. No action taken. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of October 14, 2024, they <br />would post the following on their Facebook page: Notice that Hazard <br />Mitigation Plan Comments are being requested and due November 7, <br />2024; Notice for the annual drug take-back day and paper shredding <br />event on October 26, 2024. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year.
