Docket Item 2024-08 - Title 14 <br /> CDS DIRECTOR BALA presented the docket item for reconsideration. <br /> Discussion occurred regarding the decision to approve included <br /> the concern it was going to be too simple, unaware of the <br /> unintended consequences that could occur, and wanting to make <br /> sure that the elected officials were the ones making the <br /> decisions on adopting the code amendments as they come through <br /> from the state. Staff recommends the Planning Commissioners <br /> revisit the motion and discuss the voting on it. <br /> COPMISSIONER PEARSON moved.to .rec.ommend denial of docket item <br /> 2024-08. COMMISSIONER TAYLOR seconded. Discussion - none. Motion <br /> passed 4-0. <br /> Docket Item 2024-09 - Title 12 <br /> CDS DIRECTOR BALA presented the docket item for reconsideration. <br /> Discussion occurred regarding clarification of changes. Staff <br /> specifically references findings of fact #8 which is the <br /> original motion with the changes proposed that was voted on. <br /> Commissioner Deneen: This was the motion that was made and <br /> supported by KC Dept. of Public Works. <br /> CDS Director Bala: Yes and confirmed the original motion as <br /> it's described in Findings of Fact #8 . <br /> Vice Chair Lundin: I know more than what you (Commissioner <br /> Deneen) ' think.
