Fire <br /> districts ensure sufficient operations and equipment to meet state laws and county standards. <br /> School districts and utility districts are responsible for preparing capital plans. <br /> • While.demands for these facilities and services will increase,the Capital facilities Element of <br /> the Comprehensive Plan identifies needed improvements over the planning period(2017- <br /> 2037). <br /> Proposed measures to reduce or respond to such demand(s)are: <br /> Implementing the Comprehensive Plan, Transportation,Capital Facilities and Utilities Elements <br /> would allow the County to accommodate new growth and provide established levels of service for <br /> these facilities and services. Site specific development proposals will also require SEPA review <br /> individually as well as development permit review. Both processes will require on assessment of <br /> transportation and utility impacts. <br /> 7. Identify,if possible,whether the proposal may conflict with local,state,or federal laws or requirements <br /> for the protection of the environment. <br /> The proposed Update does not conflict with local,state,or federal laws or requirements for the <br /> protection of the environment. The purpose of the proposed amendments are to bring the Kittitas <br /> County Comprehensive Plan and implementing regulations into compliance with the Growth <br /> Management Act.
