f2 04.1o.0S0 Submittal Procedure. <br /> Plans for proposed road and drainage construction shall be submitted to the Department of Public <br /> Works as follows: <br /> A. The first submittal shaft consist oftwo complete sets of preliminary civil engineering plans, <br /> along with drainage calculations,and other reports and supporting Information.The plans <br /> shall be submitted at plat application.The submittal shall consist of conceptual design <br /> level plans,profiles,roadway cross section,stormwater plan as required by KCC 12.04 <br /> Article V,utilities plan,and signage and striping plan. <br /> B. If corrections are required,the Countywill return a redlined print showing necessary <br /> corrections within 30 days.The applicant's engineer shall return the redlined print,a <br /> response letter identifying and documenting howthe comments were addressed,and the <br /> corrected plans with the changes highlighted. <br /> C. The second submittal shalt consist of two complete sets of final civil engineering plans,and <br /> revisions completed per previous County comments.This submittal shall also include: <br /> final grading plans and profile plans,final stormwater plan,construction details,temporary <br /> erosion and sediment control plan,and any supporting documents such as stormwater <br /> calculations,geotechnical reports,environmental studies and transportation impact <br /> analysis.The plans shall be signed and stamped by the developer's engineer.The <br /> developer's engineer must be a civil engineer licensed in the State of Washington.Review <br /> fees,when adopted and applicable,shall be paid by the developer before review of the <br /> plans by the County commences. <br /> D. If corrections are required,the Countywill return a redlined print showing necessary <br /> corrections within 30 days.The applicant's engineer shall return the redlined print,a <br /> response letter identifying and documenting how the comments were addressed,and the <br /> corrected plans with the changes highlighted. <br /> E. This procedure shall be followed for each additional submittal if necessary.Subsequent <br /> submittals shall also contain two complete sets of plans and other supporting documents <br /> and information,if corrected. <br /> F. When all corrections have been made to the County Engineer's satisfaction,the final plans <br /> shall be stamped and signed by the applicant's engineer and submitted. Only one copy is <br /> required. Once approved a copy of the approved set will be returned to the applicant. <br /> G. The final submittal shall include the following: <br /> 1. a good quality reproducible medium with the engineer's registration stamp and <br /> signature, <br /> 2_ one complete set of other supporting documentation, <br /> 3. a quantity take-off and certified engineer's cost estimate when the project is to be <br /> secured by performance guarantee_ See KCC 12.01.090. <br /> 4. and electronic files In pdf format of the entire submittal package. <br />
