I. Private roads shall complywith the design requirements of Standard Plans for Private <br /> Roads based on Roadway Classifications in KCC 12.03. <br /> J. Private roads shall Include a paved(HMA)approach when connecting to a public <br /> roadwaywhich is paved.The paved approach shall be the width of the roadway and is to <br /> include radius flares on either side.Pavement depth to be a minimum of four inches over <br /> eight inches of compacted aggregate. Pavement will extend from the roadway pavement <br /> edge a distance of twentyfeet along,centerline of the private roadway. <br /> Prior to final approval of any land use development activity,as defined by 2.01.040 and <br /> 15A.02.9 r the entire private road system serving a development shall be certified by a civil <br /> engineer licensed in the State of Washington to meet Kittitas County Road Standards,unless a <br /> performance guarantee is provided in accordance with KCC 12.01.090.The certification shall <br /> Include all private roads used to access the development from a County or other publicly <br /> maintained road. <br /> The certification shall be prepared in accordance with the Department of Public Works private road <br /> certification guidelines-and shall include the following:.
