• On September 1 Oth, 2024,the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing to <br /> consider Docket Item 2024-07 for the 2024 Annual Amendment to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan and unanimously recommended approval to withdraw <br /> Docket Item (4-0) with seven(7) findings of fact. <br /> • In their findings, the Planning Commission found that the parcels in question are <br /> within the urban growth node of the City of Kittitas, who has advised KCCDS <br /> that they will address this item as part of their periodic update. <br /> 8. Docket Item 2024-08 — This item was proposed by KCCDS staff. This item proposes to <br /> amend the building code (KCC 14) to create an easier process for future updates due to <br /> WA State Code Amendment occurrences. <br /> • On September 10th, 2024, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing to <br /> consider Docket Item 2024-08 for the 2024 Annual Amendment to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan and unanimously recommended denial (4-0) with twelve <br /> (12) findings of fact. <br /> • In their findings, the Planning Commission found that adopting this item would <br /> erroneously make it simple to adopt approved state codes without understanding <br /> the impacts or unintended consequences, and that it's important that our elected <br /> officials adopt the state codes. <br /> 9. Docket Item 2024-09—This item was proposed by Kittitas County Department of Public <br /> Works. This item proposes clarifications of private road standards regarding private road <br /> certifications, private road design standards (Table 12.04.04-1), description of civil <br /> review processes, removal of unnecessary turnaround requirements, including code <br /> language to be consistent with Ord. 2022-017, 2022 Article VII. Driveway Access, and <br /> mylar submittal requirements. <br /> • On September 10th, 2024,the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing to <br /> consider Docket Item 2024-09 for the 2024 Annual Amendment to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan and unanimously recommended approval (4-0)with changes <br /> and twelve (12) findings of fact. <br /> • In their findings, the Planning Commission recommended approval with the <br /> following clarifications: <br /> i. strike the proposed new language (2"d paragraph) under KCC <br /> 12.04.04.050 Private Roads. <br /> ii. add language to the proposed Engineer's Certificate Report language #3. <br /> to read as follows: "3.
