This <br /> year's docket includes code amendments, comprehensive plan amendments and citizen requested <br /> amendments. This staff report summarizes each proposed Kittitas County Code amendment and includes <br /> relevant documentation and proposed policy for your consideration. <br /> The record for each proposed docket item will eventually be presented to the Board of County <br /> Commissioners with the recommendations you make regarding approval or disapproval of the proposals. <br /> The record of this meeting and other information will be presented to the Commissioners in digital form. <br /> The public has had access to the proposed docket items at the Kittitas County Community Development <br /> Services Comprehensive Plan web page, h9p: vww.co.kittitas.wa.us/cds/c om - lan/def m1t.as x.- One <br /> printed copy has also been available for viewing at the Community Development Services front desk at: <br /> Kittitas County Community Development Services <br /> 411 North Ruby Street,Suite 2 <br /> Ellensburg WA 98926 <br /> There are ten (10) docketed items being considered for amendment, either within the Kittitas County <br /> Code or Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan. In summary,the proposed amendments include: <br /> 1. Docket Item 2024-01 — Kittitas County Community Development Services (KCCDS) Staff <br /> proposes, to amend KC Comprehensive Plan annual docket deadline date of June 30' of every <br /> year to March 31" (last working day of March) of every year. This allows for more time for <br /> processing the annual docket, issue state notices, issue sepa, and scheduling public hearing <br /> requirements with final approval from the Board of County Commissioners by December 31st of <br /> each year. <br /> 2. Docket Item 2024-02—This item was proposed by KCCDS staff. This item proposes amending <br /> KCC 17.15 land use table footnote #'s 14 & 48 pertaining to Type 1 LAMIRDs. Changing <br /> footnotes 14 & 48 regarding the maximum square footage for new & existing retail or food <br /> services to not exceed a footprint greater than 10,000 sq ft.
