Discussion - none. <br /> Motion-passed 4-0. <br /> Docket Item 2024-06 - Short Term Rental Definition - This item <br /> was submitted by the Kittitas County Short-Term Rental <br /> Committee. STAFF PLANNER CHACE PEDERSEN presented. This will <br /> allow for future discussion and development of requirements for <br /> short-term rentals. CDS Staff recommends approval of this item <br /> and adopting item 9, RCW 64 .37 . 010 for the short-term rentals <br /> definition and not the entirety of the RCW. Public comments were <br /> received by the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, <br /> Kittitas County Public Works, and the Kittitas County Fire <br /> Marshal . <br /> VICE-CHAIR LUNDIN opened public comment discussion. <br /> Amy McGuffin - Chamber of Commerce CEO and President/Short-Term <br /> Rental Committee Member - Ms. McGuffin stated she recommends <br /> accepting the entirety of the RCW definition. <br /> CDS DIRECTOR BALA stated after further review, staff is in <br /> agreement to accept RCW 64 . 37 . 010, 1-11. <br /> Amy McGuffin - Chamber of Commerce CEO & President/Short-Term <br /> Rental Committee Member - Ms. McGuffin stated that staff' s <br /> recommendation is good regarding using the RCW language <br /> 64 . 37 . 010 1-11 but would also recommend that those other topics <br /> within the entirety of the definition become topics for the <br /> committee to continue forward discussing. <br /> VICE-CHAIR LUNDIN closed public comment discussion. <br /> Discussion occurred regarding wanting to adopt this item as a <br /> whole including the regulations, not just the definition. <br /> 2024-9-10 MINUTES 4 <br />
