Winter activities are prevalent in the western part of Kittitas County with abundant hiking, <br /> skiing,camping,fishing, and tourist opportunities.Rock and mountain climbing opportunities are <br /> recognized nationally and internationally.Streams and rivers provide boating and fishing <br /> opportunities throughout the County in centralized locations. Kittitas County offers recreation <br /> opportunities for area residents and visitors alike. <br /> b. Would the proposed project displace any existing recreational uses? Kittitas County <br /> Comprehensive Plan prioritizes a number of improvements over the planning period(2017-2037)to <br /> recreational facilities across the county as outlined in the Capital Facilities Element. <br /> c.
