Agricultural vegetation exists throughout the eastern valley areas of the County. Riparian <br /> vegetation is found in the wetlands along the Columbia River. <br /> b. What kind and amount of vegetation will be removed or altered?lbpM <br /> As a non-project action, the proposal will not remove or alter vegetation.Future project specific <br /> development proposals within the study area that may remove or alter vegetation will be reviewed <br /> consistent with the provisions of the Comprehensive Plan and applicable provisions of the Kittitas <br /> County Code. <br /> c. List threatened and endangered species known to be on or near the site. <br /> • The County Comprehensive plan is a general legislative action applicable in all areas of Kittitas <br /> County. The comprehensive plan does not propose any specific activity that will affect any <br /> endangered species at any specific site. <br /> • while not a project specific proposal the comprehensive plan does contain policies that recognizes <br /> the importance of habitat that is critical to the recovery and sustainability of threatened and <br /> endangered species. Additionally, Kittitas County Code 17A does address specific code <br /> requirements regarding critical areas and endangered/threatened species,however the proposed <br /> annual amendments do not propose any specific activity that will affect endangered species at <br /> any specific site as this is a non-project action. Proposed landscaping, use of native plants, or other measures to preserve or enhance <br /> vegetation on the site, if any: fhelpl <br /> As a non-project action, the proposal is not expected to result in impacts to vegetation,therefore no <br /> mitigation measures are proposed. Future project specific development proposals will be reviewed <br /> pursuant to SEPA and the County Environmental Policy(KCC Title 15)to identify environmental <br /> impacts and applicable mitigating measures. <br /> e.
