sEcfloN 00 00 03.1 <br />SUPPLEMENTARY INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br />The following Supplementary lnstructions to Bidders modify, delete or expand on the requirements as published <br />in AIA Document A701 - 2018 "lnstructions to Bidders." Where any article, paragraph, or subparagraph is <br />modified, the unaltered portions shall remain in effect as published, <br />ARTICLE 4 - SUBMISSION OF BIDS4.2.1 DELETE the first sentence and INSERT the following: <br />Each Bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form and <br />amount required on the Bid Form. <br />4.4.1 ADD the following: <br />Bidders agree not to modify, withdraw or cancel bid proposals for a <br />period of sixty (60) days after date set for receipt of bids. <br />ARTICLE 5 - CONSIDERATION OF BIDS <br />5.1 ADD new subparagraphs and clauses as follows. <br />5.1.1 Per Chapter 39.12 RCW, Bidder shall provide the names of all <br />subcontractors whose subcontract amount will be more than ten <br />percent (10%) of the contract price and with whom the Bidder, if <br />awarded a contract, intends to subcontract for performance of the <br />categories of work designated on the submitted list. <br />ARTICLE 6 - POST BID INFORMATION6.3.1 DELETE as printed and INSERT the following: <br />The Bidder shall, within 5 working days of the date of written notification <br />of consideration for award of a Contract, furnish to the Owner through <br />the Architect in writing: <br />ARTICLE 7 - PERFORMANCE BOND AND PAYMENT BOND <br />7.1.1 REVISE the first sentence to read as follows: <br />The Bidder shall furnish bonds covering faithful performance of the <br />Contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. <br />7.1.2 DELETE as printed and INSERT the following: <br />The cost of furnishing such bonds shall be included in the Bid <br />7.2.2 DELETE as printed and INSERT the following: <br />Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and <br />Payment Bond, each written in the amount of 100% of the contract <br />price, on contract form AIA Document A312, Performance Bond and <br />Payment Bond, latest edition by a qualified surety.
