We provide a wide variety of services, resources, and programs. We <br /> seek to make our offerings even more deeply integrated with the needs of our students and the greater <br /> CWU community. Our guiding directions are to be a partner in transformative teaching, learning, and <br /> research; to welcome the university community with excellent service and resources, seamless access to <br /> those resources and services, and inclusive spaces and programs accessible and approachable to all; to <br /> add to the quality of life of the CWU community; and to create and extend an atmosphere of <br /> inclusiveness and diversity. <br /> The James E. Brooks Library is a well-loved center of activity on campus, providing physical and <br /> electronic resources and diverse study spaces. Brooks Library welcomes members of the public. On a <br /> weekly basis the building is open 96.5 hours during fall, winter, and spring academic sessions, 81.5 hours <br /> during summer academic session, and 40 hours during academic intersessions. We are committed to <br /> providing programming to bring members of the wider Kittitas County community to the library and to <br /> bringing library resources to the community.
