Docusign Envelope lD: CCDS6BBF-645D-4579-9C75-F803991 1CF89 <br />HCA will provide lT infrastructure funding through the Capacity Building Program. lf <br />needed, HCA will collaborate with facilities on solutions for electronic health record (EHR) <br />systems and systems that billfor Medicaid services. <br />HCA is soliciting for TPA to provide administrative support possibly starting as early as Q1 <br />2025. The administrative support may include but may not be limited to assisting clients <br />with Medicaid eligibility screening and application, supporting providers to become enrolled <br />as a Medicaid provider, and serving as a claim clearinghouse that helps facilities and <br />providers prepare and submit claims. <br />6. Capacity Building Program Funding <br />Contractors that complete Milestone 2 -Capacity Building Application, HCA will provide <br />capacity building funding to facilities to support the planning for and implementation of the <br />Demonstration. Eligible uses of the funding are available in Appendix A, and include the <br />fotlowing activities: <br />a. lT infrastructure funding to support systems changes for data exchange, access to <br />virtualhealth services, and other lT needs. <br />b. Reentry planning and implementation funding to support planning expenses, such <br />as the development of process changes, protocols, and procedures for <br />implementation and hiring and training of staff. <br />Maximum funding for reentry planning and implementation willvary by facility size, based <br />on their average daily population for the period of time specified in the Contractor's Letter of <br />lntent response. The table below delineates the maximum funding amounts for Tier 2 <br />facilities. The maximum lT infrastructure funding will be $1 million for each participating <br />facility. <br />Tier 2 (5O -2491 ,250,000 ,000,000 $2,250,000 <br />7. Milestone Deliverables Compensation Table <br />HCA will assess Contractor's progress towards achieving the lnitiative goals based on <br />achievement of specific milestones and measured by these milestones. Distribution of <br />Capacity Building funding to Contractor is based on a Contractor's tier as described below <br />and is contingent upon their completion of the implementation milestones described below <br />Milestones will be developed by the State in consultation with stakeholders and members <br />of the public and approved by CMS.
