Differences between the Contractor and the County, arising under and by virtue of the A$reement Documents shatt be brought to the attention of the County at the earl,iest possibte time in order that such matters may be settted, or other appropriate action promptty taken. Except for such objections as are made of record in the manner hereinafter specified and within the time limits stated, the records, orders, instructions, and decisions of the Kittitas County Commissioners shat[ be finat and conctusive' 22.2 Notice of Potentiat Ctaims The Contractor shatt not be entitted to additionaI compensation which othenruise may be payabte, or to extension of time for (1) any act or faiture to act by the County, or (2) the happening of any event or occurrence, untess the Contractor has given the County a written Notice of Potentiat Cl'aim within ten (10) days of the commencement of the act, faiture, or event giving rise to the ctaim, and before finat payment by the County. The written Notice of PotentiaI Ctaim shatl. set forth the reasons for which the Contractor betieves additional compensation or extension of time is due, the nature of the cost invotved, and insofar as possibte, the amount of the potentiat ctaim. Contractor shatl keep ful,t and comptete daity records of the work performed, tabor and material used, and al.l, costs and additionat time claimed to be additionat. 22.3. Detail.ed ctaim The contractor shatt not be entitted to ctaim any such additionat compensation, or efiension of time, unless within thirry (30) days of the completion of the portion of the work f rom which the ctaim arose, and before finat payment by the County, the Contractor has given the County a detail'ed written statement of each element of cost or other compensation requested and of a[[ etements of additional time required, and copies of any supporting documents evidencing the amount or extension of time claimed to be due. 23. Ownership of ltems Produced: Att writings, programs, data, pubtic records or other materials prepared by the Contractor and/or its consuttants or sub-Contractors, in connection with the performance of this Agreement shatt be the sote and absotute property of the County' 24. Confidentiatity: The Contractor, its emptoyees, sub-Contractors, and their employees sha[[ maintain the confidentiatity of al,l, information provided by the County or acquired by the Contractor in performance of this Agreement, except upon the prior written consent of the Kittitas County prosecuting Attorney or an order entered by a court after having acquired jurisdiction over the County. Contractor shatt immediatety give to the County notice of any judiciaI proceedings seeking disctosure of such information.
