BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - <br />ADOPTING A SIX -YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR THE <br />YEARS 2025-2030 <br />WHEREAS: In accordance with R.C.W. 36.81.121, the County Engineer has prepared the <br />2025-2030 Six -Year Transportation Improvement Plan for the ensuing six -year <br />period; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners has access to Public Works priority scoring <br />array and 2023 Bridge Inspection Report. The Inspection Report and priority <br />scoring array were utilized by staff preparing this Six -Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited public comment via press release along with holding two <br />open house meetings; and <br />WHEREAS: A Public Hearing was opened on October 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the <br />Commissioners' Auditorium concerning adoption of the said Transportation <br />Improvement Plan; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby adopt the said 2025-2030 Six -Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan, hereto attached, as now submitted by the Kittitas County <br />Director of Public Works and County Engineer. <br />ADOPTED this 1 st day of October 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
