KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />October 1, 2024 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution adopting the Annual Road <br />Program for 2025. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared the Annual Road Program for <br />2025. The Annual Road Program includes the Annual <br />Construction Program, the Annual Maintenance Plan, and <br />the Annual Equipment Purchase and Major Repair Plan. <br />The Annual Construction Program (Exhibit A) is consistent <br />with the Six Year Transportation Improvement Program for <br />the year 2025. It also indicates whether the work will be <br />performed using County Forces. <br />The Annual Maintenance Plan (Exhibit B) was developed <br />utilizing the prior year's maintenance costs. <br />The Annual Equipment Purchase and Major Repair Plan <br />(Exhibit C) was developed with the help of maintenance <br />staff, based on their needs. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution adopting the Annual Road <br />Program for 2025. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Annual Construction Program; Annual <br />Maintenance Plan; Annual Equipment Purchase and Major <br />Repair Plan <br />LEAD STAFF: Cameron Curtis, County Engineer <br />
