Kittitas County <br />Public Health <br />Department <br />To Protect and Promote the Health and the Environment of the People of Kittitas County <br />KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH (BOH) <br />Public Hearing <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 15, 2024 <br />Commissioners' Auditorium <br />10:00 am <br />Present <br />Board of Health (BOH): Laura Osiadacz (Webex), Danielle Bertschi (Webex), Linda Navarre, Dede Utley, <br />Brett Wachsmith <br />Absent: Cory Wright <br />Public Health: Candi Blackford, Chelsey Loeffers, Erin Moore, Jesse Cox, Kate Johnson, Lianne Bradshaw, <br />Cambron Walker, Katie Odiaga, Mackenzie Carter <br />Joint BOCC/BOH public meeting called to order at 10:00 a.m. <br />Jesse Cox stepped the podium and reviewed the purpose of the public hearing to clean up <br />administrative matters and clarify code changes to adopt by reference the WAC for codes 13.04 On -Site <br />Sewage Disposal Systems and 13.12 Solid Waste Handling Program. The previous meeting advertised <br />the wrong code. Mr. Cox noted the department is looking for approval of BOH Resolution 2024-003 and <br />Kittitas County Ordinance 2024-008. <br />Public comment open: 10:03 a.m. <br />Public comment closed: 10:03 a.m. <br />08.01: Brett Wachsmith moved to approve BOCC Ordinance 2024-008 to amend Chapters 13.04, and <br />13.12 of the Kittitas County Code. Laura Osiadacz seconded. All approved. Motion 08.01 carried to <br />approve the BOCC Ordinance 2024-008 to amend Chapters 13.04, and 13.12 of the Kittitas County <br />Code. <br />08.02: Brett Wachsmith moved to approve BOH Resolution 2024-003 to amend Chapters 13.04 and <br />13.12 of the Kittitas County Code. Linda Navarre second. All approved. Motion 08.02 carried to <br />approve BOH Resolution 2024-003 to amend Chapters 13.04 and 13.12 of the Kittitas County Code. <br />Public Hearing Concluded at 10:04 a.m. <br />
