AUGUST 26, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chair Laura <br />Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Shelise Smithgall, <br />Administrative Assistant; Josh Fredrickson, Public Works Director; <br />Patti Stacey, Facilities Director; Brian Carlson, Budget & Finance <br />Director; and 2 members of the public. <br /> REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT – NONE CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending August 23, 2024. <br /> DECISION COLD WEATHER SHELTER LOCATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright moved to pursue the 2024-2025 Cold Winter <br />Shelter location to be at the Kittitas Valley Event <br />Center/Fairgrounds Western Village area, and to allow Chairman <br />Wachsmith to continue working with the City of Ellensburg on lease <br />language and bring it back to the Board at a later date. Vice- <br />Chairman Osiadacz seconded.
