vehicles with audible warning signals and guides during the backing of vehicles. <br />ARTICLE 11- INSURANCE <br />11.1.1.1 ADD new text to the end of the clause as follows: <br />... including private entities performing Work at the site and exempt from the <br />coverage on account of number of employees or occupation, which entities shall <br />maintain voluntary compensation coverage at the same limits specified for <br />mandatory coverage for the duration of the Project; <br />11.1.1.2 ADD new text to the end of the clause as follows: <br />... or persons or entities excluded by statute from the requirements of Clause 11.1.1.1 <br />but required by the Contract Documents to provide the insurance required by that <br />Clause; <br />11.1.1 ADD new Clauses 11.1.1.9 and 11.1.1.10 as follows: <br />9 Liability insurance shall include all major divisions of coverage and be on a <br />comprehensive basis including: <br />1. Premises Operations (including X, C and U coverages applicable). <br />2. Independent Contractors' Protective. <br />3. Products and Completed Operations. <br />4. Personal Injury Liability with Employment Exclusion deleted. <br />5. Contractual, including specified provision for Contractor's obligation under Paragraph 3.18. <br />6. Owned, non -owned and hired motor vehicles. <br />7. Broad Form Property Damage including Completed Operations. <br />.10 If the General Liability Coverages are provided by a Commercial General Liability <br />Policy on a claims -made basis, the policy date or Retroactive Date shall predate the <br />Contract; the termination date of the policy or applicable extended reporting <br />period shall be no earlier than the termination date of coverages required to be <br />maintained after final payment, certified in accordance with Subparagraph 9.10.2. <br />Regardless of termination date of insurance all coverages should extend to the end <br />of any applicable limitations (Statue of Limitations). <br />11.1.2 ADD the following clause:1 The Contractor shall secure and maintain in effect at all <br />times during performance of the Work such insurance required by Subparagraph <br />11.1.1 and/or as stated below, to protect the County ("Owner"), Contractor, its <br />Support and the Additional Insureds from all claims, losses, harm, costs, liabilities, <br />damages and expenses arising out of personal injury (including death) or property <br />damage that may result from performance of the work or this Agreement, whether <br />such performance is by Contractor or any of its Support. All insurance shall be issued <br />by companies admitted to do business in the State of Washington and have a rating <br />of A-, Class VII or better in the most recently published edition of Best's Reports unless <br />otherwise approved by the County. If an insurer is not admitted, all insurance policies <br />and procedures for issuing the insurance policies must comply with Chapter 48.15 <br />RCW and 284-15 WAC. <br />Kittitas County — Lower Valley 16 of 24 Supplementary General <br />Transfer Station Conditions of the Contract <br />June 18, 2024 <br />
