KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA ITEM STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: September 03, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing on September 03, 2024, at 2:00 pm local <br />time to consider Equipment surplus to Kittitas County's needs and <br />authorize disposal of same in accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br />BACKGROUND: The following equipment is surplus to the county's needs: <br />E.R. & R. #189 2009 Intnl 760/TM Dump Truck <br />VIN #1HTWXAHT59J108392 <br />The Department of Public Works plans to surplus the equipment in <br />accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br />Equipment replacement was covered by Public Works funds in 2024. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider equipment surplus to the <br />county's needs and authorize disposal of same. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Department of Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Public Works Director. <br />
