• Existing on and off ramps between MP 70 <br />and MP 85 would not require alteration <br />unless the new bridge overcrossing. <br />• This alternative may be conducive to <br />providing an emergency detour/bypass <br />route when incidents require the closure <br />of the existing eastbound or westbound <br />1-90 lanes within MP 70 and 85 (collisions, <br />wildfires, roadway repairs). <br />• This option allows WSDOT Maintenance <br />or contractors to fully close two lanes <br />CHAPTER 2: RANGE OF ALTERNATIVES <br />of 1-90 in either direction and be able to <br />perform construction, maintenance, and <br />preservation duties in the safest work zone <br />environment. <br />• Commercial truck weigh station <br />notifications, methods, or locations would <br />need to be relocated before MP 70 and MP <br />85 before entering the bypass/reversible <br />lanes. <br />VOLUME I: FEASIBILITY REPORT 1-90 Corridor - Easton to Cle Elum Feasibility Study 1 17 <br />
