NOT aware of the cautions that come with our'Open Range' roads. Since our last denial and speaking to
the owners of the venue it was recommended we place our own signage to help traffic. We purchased
out of our own pockets reflective cones for along the side of the road. This addition has not helped the
speed of the vehicles that fly by our place. Even when I am standing out at the mailbox holding hands
with my five year old, they don't have the courtesy to slow down. Our farms are comprised of livestock,
horses, additional farm animals and also include many wildlife crossings.
Charlton Road may not have many homes on it, however, the existing homes consist of 80% families with
young children under the age of 10. 1 pray that it does not take a wreckage or fatility for the change.
In addition, there are two bus stops on the road for elementary school students. There still has yet to be
any signage posted for "bus stop ahead."
For these reasons, we request the speed limit on our road, Charlton Road, be lowered to the maximum
speed limit of 35mph or less with proper signage.
We plead for lowering the speed limit on our the road for safety. Thank you for your time and
consideration.
Sincerely,
Residents of Charlton Road,
Hana & John Kriebel
253-230-6714 & 509-312-5170
(The names below are in agreement and have asked to be added to this request)
Victoria & Jesse McCormic, 1241 Charlton Rd.
Paul & Shelly Arnold, 1571 Charlton Rd.
Leanne & Dave Adams, Bill & Connie Criag
1371 Charlton Rd.
Burton Gray & Roxanne Williams 570 Charlton Rd.
Rosie Hale 401 Charlton Rd.
Greg Ogden 835 Charlton Rd.
The information transmitted by this email is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed.
