BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL AID <br />PROJECT PROSPECTUS FOR THE 2024 VANTAGE HIGHWAY PAVING, CRP 320-24 <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has received notification of State Transportation Block Grant (STBG) <br />redistribution funding for the 2024 Vantage Highway Paving Project; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Engineering staff is currently finalizing design of construction plans for <br />advertisement; and <br />WHEREAS: In preparation to advertise construction phase work in 2024 Kittitas County Public Works <br />is requesting the Washington State Department of Transportation release the federal <br />funds for construction; and <br />WHEREAS: A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />acknowledging the project has been reviewed and is consistent with the County's <br />comprehensive plan for community development; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local Agency Federal <br />Aid Project Prospectus for the 2024 Vantage Highway Paving, CRP 320-24. <br />DATED this 6th day of August 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
