7. Rock Clean Up and Wall Construction Project: Kady gave an update on the project plan that was worked up between the City, Public Works, and KVEC to tackle removing the build up of loose rock debris from the hill and installing a taller ecology block wall behind the barns. We can only go two high on the ecology blocks, but that will be enough to maintain the debris along with annual clean out. The hill will be monitored annually and there is a great baseline of data that was just pulled from Public Works using their drone. With that, we will be able to measure changes in the hillside and evaluate any further need for mitigation. The clean out this year will be handled by all three of our entities and cost should be split evenly in half based on the agreement from discussions throughout meetings over the course of this year. Kady is looking for support to conduct this project, not knowing the exact budget impact, but she estimates it will be minimal due to the in -kind resources that will be used between the entities. All members of the BOCC voiced support unanimously to proceed. 8. Other Business - No Action to be taken: South Grandstands painting project is complete and looks amazing. Kady has submitted an additional application for the Law and Justice Grant for more funding towards the barn sound system repair project. She also requested an extension of the current one to be able to combine funds. The funds from both grants will most likely not be utilized until 2025, so that will reflect in the new budget. The Sheriff's Office is ready to proceed with bringing the KVEC Security Camera system under their security wing, so Kady will be meeting with them and IT to get this started.
