d.
RESEARCH
3.5 Re -Test: 5-Year Funding
After voters were presented with supporting arguments for the levy, support was re -tested. In the
informed levy test, voter support increases by 10 points, reaching majority approval. While the
proportion of certain "no" voters is largely intact, the informed test results in a comparable number of
certain "yes" voters (29%, an increase of 12 points from the initial test).
Now that you know more about this measure,
please consider it again.
Should Kittitas County issue a one-year road
maintenance levy increase of S0.55 per
$1,000 assessed value in 2025? This increase
would allow Kittitas County Public Works to
continue to maintain County roads and
bridges for the next five years.
If the election were today, would you vote
'!'S to support this measure, or to
oppose it?
Total level
Informed Test
53% 51%
43% 44%
Lean
Certain
Initiallnfomwd Inkial Informed
Yes N
% would vote yes on the Road levy
6% 4%
Initial Informed
support
oil
at
4 v.w
AGE
I
Research Kirtitas ublic Worrs S..rver 1 6
13 1 DHM Research I Consor Kittitas County Public Works Survey I May 2024
