RE <br />KITTITA.SI C(OIINT'IY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />TO:Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />DATE: July 2,2024 <br />FROM:Ryan Berge, Maintenance Manager <br />Kittitas County Public Works <br />CC:Candie Leader, Contracts Specialist <br />Special Event Application - Ride to Defeat ALS - Ironhorse <br />After review of the Special Event Application submitted by Viktoria Meyer to host the Ride to <br />Defeat ALS - Ironhorse to be held on August 3,2024, Kittitas County Public Works requires the <br />following: <br />Two (2) Week notice in the Northern Kittitas County Tribune and Daily Record to give residents <br />and the traveling public notice of the event. <br />Recommended placement of "Cyclists on Roadway" and "Caution - Cyclists Ahead" related <br />signage on any traveled county roadways on the day of the event. <br />Kittitas County Public Works recommends approval of this event based on the information and <br />proposal submitted along with the conditions mentioned above. <br />Feel free to contact Kittitas County Public Works with any additional questions at 509-962-7523 <br />411 N.
