PURPOSE: fittitas County, Washington (hereinafter the "County'), is requesting Statements of Qualifications ('SOQs') from interested finns for the provision of high-speed broadband Internet services in the County. The County is requesting SOQs from capable Intemet Service Providers ("ISPs") and other firms capable of providing high-speed broadband Intemet service attheservice levels and to the geographic areas detailed hereinasExhibit 1. The purpose of tfuis RFQ is to identiff firms with whom the County may collaborate to expand high-speed broadband Internet service availability to all County residents. This document is not a formal Request for Proposals, nor should it be treated as such by applicants. SCOPE OF PROJECT: The firm(s) selected as part of this RFQ will be required to design, build, operate and maintain the broadband Internet network to provide high-speed broadband internet service to the identified areas for a defined period of time. Evidence of the firm's capability to operate such a network shall be a condition of selection of an applicant by the County as detailed herein. PROCEDURES T'OR SUBMITTAL: If you wish to be considered for work under this Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), youmust be a iegistered consultant on the Municipal Research and Senrice Center of Washington - Shared Small Works and Consultant Roster (www'mrscroster.org). If interested in providing Broadband design, build, operate and maintain services to Kittitas County, submita sealed envelope to, Kittitas County Department of Public Works, at 411 N. Rpby 3t. Suite 1, Ellensburg WA 98926. Submittals shall include a one-page cover letter with the firrn name and contact inforrration. Submittals shall also include four (4) copies of your Statement of Qualifications describing the firm's or team's ability to profossionally provide the requested services. Rosponses shall not exceed twenty (20) pages, single sided or ten (10) pages double sided and the font shall be 12 point in size. - excluding a cover letter' For your records, the County will provide a confirmation email to the contacts provided in the submittal confirming receipt of your interest in this solicitation.
