BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No.2024-______ <br /> <br /> <br />TO PURCHASE A WATER TRUCK FOR THE SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County solicited bids for a used water truck for the Solid Waste <br />Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: No bids were received at the closure of the bid date and time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Solid Waste is in need of a water truck since the current <br />water truck has failed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Solid Waste staff has contacted several equipment rental and <br />supply firms and located two trucks that will meet the counties need and <br />one within the county budget; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: that the Board of County <br />Commissioners, in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the <br />contract to purchase a water truck to Voltage Truck and Equipment in the <br />amount of $108,508.40 including tax. <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2024. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Chair <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Commissioner <br /> <br />ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />_______________________ _________________________________ ☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik Douglas R.
