Attachment D WORK PLAN FY 2022 Emergency Management Performance Grant Kittitas County EM along with HLS Region 7 are in the developmental stages of fielding a Type 3 incident Management Team (IMT). Kittitas County is looking at expanding their current Type 4 IMT into a Type 3 IMT. The members of the local IMT wilt also be folded into the HLS Region 7 Type 3 IMT. This project wilt focus on purchasing supplies for an "EOC/I MT in a box". The supplies will be stored Inside of an already purchased response trailer. The goat of this project is to have a self-contained response trailerthat is capable of suppling Its own power (generator) and have laptop, printer, Internet access through Starlink. The trailerwitl be stored at the Sheriff's office and wilt be able to be deployed inside the county and throughout Region 7. This team will be able to manage a type 3 incident or supplement a local Emergency Operations Center. Once fully established and credentiatted, the Region 7 IMT and trailer will be able to be utilized outside the region and respond to manage an incident throughout Washington State. This project will greatly expand the National Preparedness System goals of Response, to quickly save lives, protect property and the environment. This will enhance Recovery, to revitalize our communities. This project touches the Core Capabilities of Operational Coordination, Environmental Response, Health and Safety, Situational Assessment, Fire Management and Suppression, Mass Care Services and Logistics and Supply Chain Management. This project will increase the response preparedness of the IMT to increase their efficiency, effectiveness and speed of deployment. The success of this project will be measured by the capabilities of having a fully stocked self -supported trailer that is capable of sustaining a Type 3 IMT for the duration of an incident or through a transition to a larger team. The project is supported by local fire districts, municipalities, and county government throughout HLS region 7. The project will grow in conjunction with our local and regional partners to better equip our team to be able to respond to an impacted community to help minimize loss of life, property, and environmental impacts.
