KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> Courthouse RM 201 , ELLENSBURG <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> TUESDAY 6: 00 PM April 9, 2024 <br /> Board members present: Michael Lundin, Joseph Pearson, Warren <br /> Taylor, and Pat Deneen. <br /> Not Present: Bruce Coe and Scott Carlson <br /> Others : Mark Cook, Jamey Ayling, Chad Bala, and Jessica Miller <br /> and zero (0) members of the public . <br /> Meeting was called to order at 6: 00 P.M. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 min. time limit) <br /> There were no citizen comments . <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion by COMMISSIONER PEARSON to approved the meeting <br /> minutes . COMMISSIONER DENEEN seconded. Motion passed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> BUILDABLE LANDS INVENTORY ASSUMPTIONS <br /> DIRECTOR COOK presented this item and discussed the <br /> proposed direction moving forward. Discussion occurred <br /> regarding zoning changes, use changes, density issues, <br /> water banks and the use of the GMA to plan our future . <br /> DIRECTOR COOK stated CDS has chosen two consultants to help <br /> with the upcoming workload and are hoping for products from <br /> this in the next six months . Discussion occurred. <br /> DIRECTOR' S REPORT <br /> DIRECTOR COOK provided a written report of the current <br /> items and projects being tracked.
