BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 2024-_______ <br />TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR THE KITTITAS COUNTY CORRECTIONAL <br />FACILITY PARKING LOT & NORTH LOT CHARGING STATIONS PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County solicited bids for the Kittitas County Correctional Facility <br />Parking Lot & North Lot Charging Station Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on May 23, 2024 in the Kittitas County <br />Commissioners conference room at 205 W. 5th Ave. Ellensburg, WA; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Seven (7) bids were received for the for the project, and then reviewed by <br />SCJ Alliance the design engineer for the project, who recommends <br />awarding to the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: that the Board of County <br />Commissioners, in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the <br />contract for the Kittitas County Correctional Facility Parking Lot & North <br />Lot Charging Stations Project to Hurst Construction LLC. in the Amount <br />of $840,798.17. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2024. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Chair <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Commissioner <br /> <br />ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />_______________________ _________________________________ ☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik Douglas R.
