KITTITAS COUNTY <br />PUBLIC WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM May 13, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz. <br />Others: Mark Cook, Josh Fredrickson, Cameron Curtis, Rebecca Cruse, <br />Public Works; Chad Bala, Jessica Miller, Community Development <br />Services; Stephanie Hartung, Doug Mitchell, Prosecuting Attorney's <br />Office; Darren Higashiyama, Chris Whitsett, Angela Bugni, Kittitas <br />County Sheriff's Office; No members of the public. <br />At 1:30 PM Chairman Brett Wachsmith opened the Public Works Study <br />Session. <br />No Citizen Comments. <br />SEARCH AND RESCUE BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT <br />Cameron Curtis briefed the Board of County Commissioners on changes <br />needed to the layout of the property for the Search and Rescue <br />Facility. Cameron Curtis stated that the City of Cle Elum has <br />approved this Boundary Line Adjustment as it will allow for the well <br />to have the required setbacks entirely on the County owned land. <br />Direction to Staff was to prepare enabling documents including deeds <br />to facilitate Boundary Line Adjustment. <br />At 1:33 PM the Board of County Commissioners announced they would <br />recess into Executive Session for 15 minutes with Mark Cook, Josh <br />Fredrickson, Cameron Curtis, Chad Bala, and Stephanie Hartung per RCW <br />42.30.110(i) To discuss with legal counsel representing the agency <br />matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with <br />legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential <br />litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member <br />acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, <br />when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in <br />an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. Action <br />anticipated. <br />At 1:48 PM the Board of County Commissioners reconvened out of <br />Executive Session and no action was taken. <br />Meeting concluded at 1:49 PM. <br />2024-5-13 MINUTES <br />
