Response 1: <br />Project/Event <br />Description * <br />SpringFest will be an eveni open to the community ftom 12-4pm on Saturday April <br />20th, to welcome and celebrate Spring. Suncadia embraces all seasons, as we <br />leave winter behind, we welcome the new earth, flora and bountiful wildlife. The <br />chosen location of Nelson Farm will provide outdoo. space for various activities and <br />the opportunity to embrace the spring season outside. This event brings togelher <br />various non-profits, higher education entities and conseryancy organizations to <br />educate and communicate local sustainabilily and conservation efforts" <br />Activities will include forestry tield day partnering with WSU, WDFW DNR, and the <br />Nature Conservancy. To celebraie and honor spring we will fealure a rainbow run <br />5K, outdoor wellness and educalional classes, spring related crafts, recycling <br />opporlunities (Kittita$ County Solid Waste, E-Cycle of Washington and the <br />Department of Ecology), local entertainment, and color photo sessions. <br />This festival is the perfect way to bring lhe community together to welcome spring <br />and connect through various activities throughout the day. SpringFest will be hosted <br />rain or shine.
