Funding Shortfalls *
Matching Funds
Percentage
Verification of ln-kind
Conkibutions
yJhal changos uJill be made ;f lunding ior youf request is nol available or recomriended?
We have not applied for grant funding for this projecl. We receive funding for
adverlising from the Roslyn Downiowrr Association, NKC Tribune Matching Ad
Sponsorship Program, and local businesses. We will continue to request support
from these {unding sources. We will also explore olher sources of funding at the
staie and national level lhrough various grant programs.
The State of Washington has a grant program for Hisloric Cemeteries that comes
out every two years. We are applying for that grant which is specific to preservation,
restoration, and capital projects in the Roslyn Cemetery.
We are forlunate to have broad support from various groups in the community. Our
volunteer hours shown only include hours for our events in 2A23. They do not
include the thousands of volunteer hours spent in the Roslyn Cemetery each year
maintaining and improving the grounds as well as working on lhe various projects
throughout the 27 different cemeteries. The hours spent maintaining the Coal
Miners' Memorial are also nol included.
We have not used our full funding from past LTAC contracts due to reasons
including cutting back on the number of events, event spending, and not having a
conrplete understanding of qualified reimbursable expenses (ie. Thank You ads don't
qualify, or anything that asks lor donations). aur 2A21 LTAC Contract was for a
single event, the Roslyn Cemetery Kiosk Dedication so we have not included that on
the Funding portion of the application. Aur 2A22 LTAC funding was the first year we
applied for funding for a yearlong campaign. We were awarded $12,375 and
reimbursed for $6,528.18. For 2023 we were awarded up to $20,000 in LTAC
funding. We anticipate reimbursable expenses to be around $16,000.
lf we don't receive LTAC iunding for 2A24 we will scale back our plans. Advertising
our large-scale evenis will continue, as will advertising ourguesl speakers but
expanding our reach ouiside the County will be lirnited.
250C ah"r.rrler i'nril.
68.75
l-his fie;d urill ;rulo fill with the correct fercoillalie:l;rsed on yotrr inpul lo budget secli{x below.
9l Project Budget Overview
Please complele budget for this projecVproposal. lf your agency operates independently of this pro.iect application il may
not be necessary to submit the entire agency budget.
