KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />STUDY SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: April 22, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Resolution to Award the <br />2024 Annual Paint Stripe Program Contract. <br />BACKGROUND: The Department of Public Works issued a notice of <br />call for bids April 2"d, 2024, for the 2024 Annual <br />Paint Stripe Program. Sealed Bids were publicly <br />opened on April 18, 2024, at Public Works. <br />INTERACTION: <br />One (1) qualified bid was received for the <br />prescribed work. The lowest responsive bid was <br />from Stripe Rite, Inc., in the amount of <br />$399,345.28. The Engineer's Estimate for the work <br />was $307,000.00. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Award the 2024 Annual <br />Paint Stripe Program Contract and authorize the <br />County Engineer to sign said contract documents. <br />HANDLING: <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Return one original to Public Works <br />Resolution; Bid Tabulations <br />Joshua Fredrickson <br />Director <br />
