KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5th ROOM 109 <br />Special Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM April 22, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others: Chad Bala and Jessica Miller, Community Development <br />Services; Josh Fredrickson, Arden Thomas, Cameron Curtis, and <br />Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; Stephanie Hartung and Jesse Eldred, <br />Deputy Prosecutor; and no (0) members of the public. <br />At 3:00 pm Chairman Wachsmith opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MIN. TIME LIMIT) <br />There were no public comments. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION TO SELECT BHC CONSULTANTS AND <br />KIMLEY-HORN TO TAKS ORDER PLANNING SUPPORT CONTRACTS AND <br />AUTHORIZE THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR TO <br />NEGOTIATE AND SIGN CONTRACTS <br />CDS Director Chad Bala presented the resolution request. <br />Discussion occurred. Motion by Commissioner Osiadacz to approve <br />Resolution 2024-071. Commissioner Wright seconded. Discussion - <br />none. Motion passed. <br />EQUIPMENT RENTAL AND REPLACEMENT FUND PARTICIPATION <br />CDS Director Chad Bala presented item and stated he has <br />discussed this topic with Public Works and the Auditors office. <br />Director Bala stated he would like to try this option due to the <br />vehicles being new and the maintenance will be minimal. <br />Direction received from the Commissioners to proceed with the <br />participation. <br />OTHER BUSINESS - No Action to be taken <br />2024-04-22 MINUTES 1 <br />
